“Volunteering and living in Phoenix Center, Deheishe Camp has been an interesting, challenging and all in all wonderful and incomparable experience. I came all by myself and without any association in the backround, but Phoenix Center always provided the protection and information required to discover the region and the situation of the Palestinians by my own. I felt independent and free, but I felt never left alone while I was both helping in organization processes or involved in my own projects such as establishing a Girls Group or working at the local Radio Station in Deheishe Camp. Summing up I have to say that my two and a half months here could not have been better. It was amazing!”
